What happens if I close my account?

When you close your mailbox:

1. We keep it active for 30 days so any incoming mail still lands.
2. You can request one final consolidated forward to any address.
3. After 30 days, scans and metadata are deleted; physical mail received later is returned to sender.
4. Tax-relevant invoices are retained for 7 years per US law.
