Two options:
- Pause (up to 6 months) — keeps your address and pending mail; billing stops.
- Cancel — closes the mailbox, releases your address; mail can be forwarded one last time.
From Settings → Account, scroll to Close or pause. Either takes effect at the end of the current cycle.
